Datuk pulls out gun over parking spot
A special assistant to a minister is being investigated by police for brandishing a gun at an auxiliary policeman.
The incident allegedly occurred at the KL Sentral parking bay on Saturday evening when the Datuk, a senior government officer, was told he was not allowed to park at a certain spot.
Angered by the instruction, he pulled out his gun and threatened to shoot the auxiliary policeman with it.
Alarmed, the policeman later filed a police report.
Kuala Lumpur police CID chief Senior Asst Comm II Datuk Ku Chin Wah confirmed the incident, adding the case was being investigated under Section 506 of the Penal Code for criminal intimidation.
