Muhyiddin: Money politics now at branch level
Money politics in Umno, which used to be the scourge at national and division levels, has now reached the branches, said vice-president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
He said he has received unofficial reports that money politics has started even before the nomination process at the divisions with some branches getting involved.
“We used to be concerned at the division or national levels.
“Now, it has even reached the branches. If it goes unchecked, Umno may suffer dire consequences and may disintegrate,” he added after meeting Kelantan Umno members.
